The EVO elevator brake family belongs to the category of compression spring brakes of its own design. It is made up of 5 models (EVO-01, EVO-02, EVO-03, EVO-04 and EVO-05) that differ in their braking capacity between 2x75Nm and 2x2300Nm.

Electromechanical brakes for EVO elevators have electrical and mechanical duplicity, and optionally can include the incorporation of mechanical or optical detectors, manual opening levers and dust cover.

In addition, we can adapt the positions of the fixing screws, include specific electrical connectors, winding for over-excitation, or incorporate threaded holes for fixing auxiliary elements and perform the dimensional adjustment through modification of the geometry, among other requirements on demand.

In the absence of current, the springs, housed in their housing, exert a force on the movable plates that prevents the movement of the friction disk

The springs that are housed in the housing exert force on moving plates that prevent the movement of the friction disk. The magnetic field generated by the electromagnet attracts the moving plates, displacing them and releasing the friction disk.

The displacement of the movable plates can be monitored by means of the use of detectors (micro-switches).

EVO electromechanical brakes are specially designed to provide safety and protection. They have a certificate of compliance with the lift directive 2014/33 / EU Annex VII and the standards EN81-20 2015 and EN81-50 2015, accredited by TÜV.
